Happy Friday! and happy Memorial Day Weekend! It’s been a week for me, that is for sure. I got home from Saba on Saturday and have been go go go since. In fact, I’m getting ready to leave for Orlando this weekend! All this travel had me thinking about the essentials I need when it comes to weekend travel, or any travel. My packing style has quickly become a less is more situation, like everything else in my life.
When traveling I like to think about what I will be doing and what I will need to get me through it. In most cases if you really think about it, you don’t need much. I also don’t wear a ton of makeup as it is, but I like to make sure I have what I need to feel like a human. So, here are a few things I always have in my travel bag!
Weekend Travel Essentials:
Vitamins
By now, lets be real you know I’m obsessed with my vitamins. Care/Of sent me a 30 day trial of their personalized vitamins and I cannot say enough good about them. First of all, they’re perfect for when you’re on the go. Just grab your pack and head out. You don’t have to worry about opening each bottle of vitamins to get your perfect concoction, it’s all done for you. Plus, traveling does a number on me, so I love to supplement with vitamins.
Waterproof Mascara
This is something new for me.. I haven’t used waterproof mascara in years, mostly because i have having to take it off. But, I recently started using the waterproof Too Faced Better Than Sex after falling in love with the OG and wow. Not only does it stay on all day, it keeps my lashes up all day.
win win.
Roll-on Perfume
For me, this is an all the time thing. Roll-on perfume is the easiest way to smell amaze all day. So convenient.
My current fave is Tory Burch Jolie Fluer Rose
Stress Away Essential Oils
Another non negotiable. This oil lives in my bag(s). Essential oils are kind new to me, but I fell in love with the way this oil makes me feel. Any time I know I will be in a large crowd ( hello anxiety attack!) I roll this baby all over my neck and chest and feel instantly calm.
Loreal Air Dry It Spray:
This right here…. this right here.. Thanks to Influenster, I was sent this product to try out. & i’m so happy I was. I have pretty unruly hair if I don’t style it and usually texture sprays don’t really work. BUT. This works wonders on my hair and is perfect for traveling when you’d rather be having fun instead of styling your hair.
Take a shower, spray it all over your hair, let it air dry and BAM. You have perfectly waves, tame locks.
