Hello and welcome back! Remember when I posted this Insta post featuring these removable decals from Paper Riot?! You know, the ones I discovered by walking aimlessly around Target one day..
(AMAZING, right?) Well, I’m back at it again with a new pattern! Since Christmas is over I sadly had to take these babies down, but I am putting something right back up! I absolutely LOVE how the decals completely transform my living room. As many of you know, I live in a condo & can’t necessarily paint the walls so these decals have changed my LIFE. Also, as someone who loves to change up the decor, this is perfect. Although, I don’t think I’ll be getting rid of the arrows… EVER.
Decorating with removable decals:
What you’ll need:
Painters Tape
Scissors
Paper Riot Decals
A Good Eye! (or a level, whatev.)
Paper Riot decals have very good instructions on their packaging, but this is how I do it.
I start with cutting out each design and having a general idea of how I want them placed on my wall.
Using the painter tape, I tape each decal (with the backing still on it, don’t peel it off yet) to the wall in the position I want it to be in. This is what allows me to get all my decals up and make sure that’s how I like it!
Now, using your good eye (LOL) make sure everything looks level. Peel the backing off the stickers and stick them in place!
What do you think? Are you in just as much love as I am? I think the arrows as SO appropriate for Arrows & Awe’s abode, don’t you?! I think I want to get a cool little chair to put in that corner to compliment these babies.

This is such a neat decor idea! I love that if you get bored of a design you can just take it down and put something else up!

This is such a great idea to prevent me from getting board with my living room (which happens very often)!

Those arrows are so pretty! I love them. Also, why have I never thought to cut them out and tape em to the wall before sticking them? Glad I read this haha.

Fun way to use the decals. My husband just put up a large Om decal in my yoga room. I love it.

I absolutely love decorating with decals, it’s a great and inexpensive way to switch up your decor. Thanks for sharing your tips on how to put them up I always seem to struggle, maybe its because I don’t have a good eye haha.

I LOVE those arrows! I picked up some fruit decals from Paper Riot and was wondering how to put them up. I was just going to stick them up randomly but seeing your post makes me think it’ll look way better if I plan it.

Thanks for the tips on using decals on walls. I can never make up my mind about what to do with our walls. This is a great solution because they can easily be removed if I change my mind!
