Week 3… and since March is such a long no spend month… I still have 8 days left in my challenge!
I even visted Universal Studios / Island of Adventures and didn’t spend anything! This is due to the fact that I already have an Annual Pass ( I live 2 hours away! ) & my boyfriend supplied the food!
Last week, I set myself a challenge of using the food I already have in my pantry. Sad to report, that the only thing I really used was the rice – to make some bomb crock pot orange chicken. YUM! That’s ok though! 8 more days to go through these non-perishables. To make this happen I will only purchase meat and produce at the grocery store. I have plenty of sides in the pantry.
What I have been doing more of is spending time with family and doing more of what I love. Like taking my dogs for walk, networking, learning my DSLR and working out after my 9-5. Mom has come to the rescue a few times this week, also.
Mom made me lunch and dinner one day – score! Oh, how I miss living at moms house. Moms house has been the spot for the whole family to gather lately. I was able to meet up with one of my cousins to take some fun pics of her new born baby boy
So, this whole not spending really isn’t bad as long as a I keep busy and don’t look at my emails to get sucked into online shopping.

I recently completed a 2-week no spend, which has slowly evolved into a month long no-spend. I found that one of the best things I could do to avoid the email shopping pitfall, was to unsubscribe! I felt like I unsubscribed from a million emails! It’s the little things that seem to make the biggest difference!
