I’m so sad that summer is coming to an end. So sad that I had to get the last of summer out of my system with a fresh guavarita!
I live in Florida where Guava grows wildly (literally). I was lucky enough to be givenย a bag of guavas from one of my boyfriends clients. At first, I seriously had no idea what I was going to do with them. I had never even had a Guava! But, after leaving them out for about a week, my house smelled so strong of guavas. I knew I needed to figure out what to do with them or get rid of them. So, naturally I came up with making them into a Guavarita ! Duh! Well, primarily because I wanted to use the ingredients I already had in my home, like Tequila!
Those colors alone are to die for! In this recipe I chose to use Clase Azul Reposado Tequila. It is a bottle we bought when we did a tequila tasting in Mexico! ย If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories – you know what we had to go through just to get this bottle back home with us. Mexico doesn’t play games!

Thank you so much! I’ve been trying hard to up my photography game! They are kind of sweet and sour, but i love it! When you steep them in a simple syrup it becomes very sweet.
