DIY Disco Pumpkins are what you get when you fall in love with the CB2 Holiday Preview, but want it now.
I love love love the way that a disco ball reflects light and leaves the light specs all over the room. I had been thinking about bringing one into the house to place in the light randomly, but this seemed like a much more fun way to do it.
By now, you know me. I like to keep it simple and I really like to DIY for Halloween. You need minimal items to bring this to life and it brings me so much happiness.
What you need:
Craft Pumpkin(s) – grab big ones or a pack & make small disco pumpkins!
Hot Glue Gun + glue sticks
Pencil
Ruler
Foiled Paper or Mosaic Tiles
Scissors
- Measure your foiled paper to about 1/2 inch and park every 1/2 inch with the pencil. Then get to cutting! I cut them into long strips and then into squares. I just eyeballed the squares. This might be time consuming to some, so I would suggest getting the mosaic tile pieces to skip this step
- Glue the squares onto the pumpkin! I started from the top and worked my way down. Personally, I didn’t want mine to look perfect so some pieces are bigger, more rectangle and I was okay with that. The closer together you can get, the better!
