Let’s talk about hair. More specifically your scalp and how it is affected by products for dandruff, and how to incorporate it into your hair washing routine.
I have personally dealt with dandruff for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried soo many products which has always left my hair feeling dry and dull. Dove has been one of my go-to products for so much more than my hair, so when they introduce an anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner , I 100% have to try it out.
I picked up the Dove Dermacare Anti-Dandruff Dryness and Itch Relieve shampoo & conditioner from WalMart and OMG.
The first thing I noticed was the smell! I’m a sucker for a great smelling product. The next thing I noticed was how smooth my hair felt after washing it! Anti Dandruff products typically leave my thick hair dry and dull, but with Dove Dermacare you don’t have to compromise. You can have flake free AND nourished hair.
This is major key for anyone who also colors their hair. Color already dries your hair, so using a product that nourishes and helps you be flake free with regular use is a must.
My current hair washing routine looks like: wash on Sundays and Wednesdays using Dove Dermacare Anti-Dandruff Dryness and Itch Relieve shampoo & conditioner. I have never been one to really wash my hair more than twice a week.
