For me, 2017 is all about the best blogging tools that will help me work smarter and not harder. I’m talking automating tasks that take a ton of time and connecting with the RIGHT people.
If you have been following for a while, you know that I work a full-time job in addition to blogging. While my passion is in my blogging, I still have to keep that full-time job for a little longer. In the mean time I’m trying to figure out what is working for me best and what isn’t. One thing I know I’ve learned is you cannot do it all on your own, nor should you try to!
Insert automation and planning. Back in June of 2016 I started to really get intentional with my content and planning. I really tried to plan out my weeks and figure out ways to automate processes that take a lot of time. While I can’t spend tons of money on virtual assistants and other blogging tools, I have found a few thing I really like and thought I should share.
Best Blogging Tools for 2017:
Planoly
Offer: 7 Day Free Trial
Price: $8.99/Month
For Instagram
Holy game changer. Literally. For my blog, Instagram has been my number one way of connecting with everyone. Planoly has helped me to plan out my posts as far in advance as I liked to. Meaning, I pre-write all of my captions and insert all of my hashtags, then schedule them so I get reminders. Planoly will send you a notification before the post is scheduled to go live. This has also helped me figure out my feeds aesthetic because you can see how your feed will look before you post/schedule anything. YESSS
Like I wrote in my How to use Instagram to Market your Blog post, the ability to reply back to comments has been the best feature in my opinion!
BoardBooster
Offer: first 100 pins FREE
Price: $5/month
For Pinterest
BoardBooster is used for Pinterest and has completely changed my blogging game. personally, I use the $10/ month plan because I wanted it to repin more for me throughout the month. BoardBooster essentially allows you to pin something one time and forget about it. It has feature like looping, which will repin your pins (forever) in a specific board from oldest to newest. Also, you can schedule campaigns which will take the pins from a specific board and repin to as many boards as you please.
It also provides analytics so you can see which board are performing the best and how much you’ve grown. I have grown 308 new followers in the last 90 days.
A network: StyleCollective
Price: $10/Month
For Blogging/Networking/Education
Style Collective is an amazing group of girls who have come together to share knowledge, support and more. Think of it as a Facebook group on steroids. Annie has created this space to really build a community in every way. I’ve learned so much by just looking through the forums and she has even given us about 3 step by step guide to being successful when working with brands. Those guides are included in your monthly fee & are normally over $90 to people who are not members. SO WORTH IT.
I’ve also had opportunities to join Instagram Pods via this site and much more.
I wish I had joined this group sooner.

I’d like to step up my blogging game at some point this year. I am very intimidated by everything that goes into that though (besides writing of course). These are definitely worth looking into

I haven’t tried much in the way of paid blogging tools, but I’m sure they’re really helpful! I have gotten a lot of use out of online photo editing tools like Canva!
